Each year, the Christian Police Association hosts an International Day of Prayer for the Emergency Services. This year it will be on Thursday 22nd June 2023.
There are four ways to get involved:
- Watch our CPA YouTube channel “International Day of Prayer” playlist
- Join one of our Zoom meetings held on the day. One at 12 noon and one at 7pm (we will send you the registration details nearer the time).
- Use the Pray 4 Your Police (P4YP) material on our Publications page
- Engage in our Social Media using the hashtag #WaveofPrayer
It would also be great to have our local churches around the UK praying for the Emergency Services on this day.
Please ask your church whether they will pray for their Emergency Services for an hour on Thursday 22nd June. We have a ‘prayer themes’ sheet with a different theme to pray for every five minutes and a Pray for Your Police Toolkit amongst the resources here: Publications page.
The time for the church is optional as long as it falls on this day. Although the churches are welcome to pray for us regularly and adopt individuals for prayer focus. Engaging them with IDoP will bring all of these opportunities to their attention.
