Hello,
I hope that this update finds you well.
I’ve attached the two most recent CPA On & Off Duty Newsletters. They contain some brilliant articles, including details of the CPA’s 140th Anniversary celebration.
On Sunday 22nd October, Insp Dave Crompton and I went to All Saints Church, Frindsbury, Rochester. We were invited by the Black History Association (Gravesham and Kent), to celebrate their 7th Annual Thanksgiving service. Chief Inspectors Will Lay and Trevor Jenner also attended in their roles as local North Division officers. What a joyous occasion it was, with the name of Jesus being lifted high in praise and worship. Earlier this Month I met with Chief Constable Smith and Chief Superintendent Tillotson. Although it was only a short meeting, I felt confident that both he and Ma’am Tillotson were very supportive of the CPA’s role as a valued Staff Association. Please pray for our senior officers and staff. They have very difficult and challenging jobs, and I think that we have a role to play by supporting them.
I’d like to thank my deputy, Jackie Wilkinson. Jackie works as a Recruit trainer at KPC, but each morning she finds the time to post encouraging pictures and bible verses in a “Thought for the day”. CPA – Viva engage
I’m sure that we can all agree that life is sometimes hard, and that struggles can find their way to our door without us having to look for them. As a Christian it’s been my experience that to get through difficult times I needed two things. The first, and the most important, is that I know with all my heart that Jesus Christ loves me and that he promises to never leave me. The second, is knowing that I have someone praying for me. So if you would like some prayer, just email either Jackie or myself, and we can either pray for you privately, or post it on our prayer wall.

Psalm 121:1-2
“I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.”
Joshua 1:9
“Be strong and courageous; do not be frightened and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
Please let us know how we can support you.
Kind regards
Rob and the Kent CPA team.
