The testimony of Krista and Niki Coulson in this July’s On and Off Duty – links back to God working through a Christian Police Officer in King’s Cross Custody office more than 2 decades ago!
You may not realise, but every time you invite the Holy Spirit into the situation’s you face at work, that the ripples from the interactions move through time and distance, through friends, family, colleagues and their children. By His Grace, sometimes we get the chance to see what eventually happens.
Krista sent me this clipping from retired officer Ron Dewett just this week. I asked if it would be possible to speak with him and Krista said, “Of course,,,strange thing is he’s coming here on Friday for a weeks holiday!” How is that for timing? So Ron and I will be having some fish and chips and stories about God’s Amazing Grace in Saltburn next Wednesday!
Why share this now? Well CPA have an amazing opportunity. Beaconlight have written the ‘Now What?’ booklets and we have 2,500 of them to go into your custody offices. We have already distributed 2,500 to more than a dozen forces and they are in custody offices right now.
Please don’t wait. Imagine the worst offender in your force area coming to know Jesus! Like Liam here or Gram, who were costing the public purse hundreds of thousands of pounds and leaving a trail of victims. They are now introducing people to Jesus. Like the demoniac in the Gadarenes, they can speak the language of the people who are living in the darkness they have experienced. One booklet plus Jesus could transform a community.
Email the office and get your copies posted out, and get them into your custody are along with posters. Let’s do it!
