What has inter or multi faith got to do with work?
Have you ever wondered why your organisation provides a shared prayer room?
Or perhaps you have a Christian Workplace Group and know that through diversity equality and inclusion your group is able to have greater visibility and opportunities along side the other diversity groups within your organisation. So you plucked up the courage to meet with your Diversity and Inclusion Manager to ask if your group could be formally recognised along side the other diversity groups but your Diversity and Inclusion Manager said, “we can’t give the Christian group formal recognition because the organisation can’t been seen to be supporting just one faith”?
- Do you go off in a huff feeling angry and discriminated against?
- Do you take the defeatist approach and think oh well at least I tried, equality doesn’t apply in my organisation?
