Setting the Captives Free – by Brian McCarthy.
As I kneeled on my kitchen floor, a very young in faith Christian, praying fervently, “Here I am send me!” I sensed a clear gentle voice speak within me, “Set the captives free.”
Hearing voices is not something we readily share when it happens. For obvious reasons! Let me be clear, this wasn’t an audible voice in my ear. It was spoken into my spirit and repeated. I believe, to make sure I knew it wasn’t my imagination. I know this was the voice of the Lord. This raised a few questions for me. What does scripture say about this? Who are the captives? Where can I find them? And what is required of me?
