It feels strange writing this on 22/03/23, the 6th anniversary of the murder of PC Keith Palmer, during the Westminster Terrorist attacks. As I remember a colleague who paid the ultimate sacrifice doing this job, I’m also reeling from the contents of the Baroness Casey Report that came out yesterday. I can’t actually put into words my feelings, everybody’s talking about it, it will take a while for it to all sink in….?
Many issues have been highlighted and rightly so. Many will be vindicated by this report and those wonderful people who have shared their testimonies have brought into the light what was hidden.
