Sussex Christian Police and Fire Network (a member of the CPA), hosted the Sussex Emergency Services Christmas Carol Service at St Margaret’s Parish Church of Rottingdean. They where joined by CH/SUPT Howard Hodges, DCFO David Norris and Lady Mayoress Lizzie Deane. Carols where sung, the Bible opened and we where reminded that, with Jesus we are never alone; even in the difficult times. Father Anthony Moore acknowledged how difficult the Emergency Services job is and how we need time to sit and reflect, but often are not able to. He reminded us that this Christmas, as well as all the ones to come, it’s about a baby boy – Jesus, who was there in the beginning and is with us now, in every situation.
